Would you like to avoid expensive trips to the dentist for your child? The Girlfriends Club is here to help you get rid of all the left over Halloween candy that will be hanging around your house. Once again the Plumb Girlfriends Organization will be partnering with Largo Medical Center to help send care packages to McDill Airforce personnel who are stationed overseas. You may donate candy left over from trick or treating, or purchase bags of candy (after Halloween sales are a great time to buy!). You may drop your donation off with your teacher, or leave it with the front office staff. All donations need to be turned in by November 7, 2014.
The Girlfriends Club will also be trying to raise $1,000 for UNICEF between now and November 14th. The Club will be delivering trick or treat boxes to each of the classrooms on October 6, 2014. Students may begin collecting and turning in money to Ms. Doepker immediately. Please be sure to include the grade level on any box or bag of change turned in. The grade level with the most money turned in will be awarded a popcorn party. So grab that jar of change that’s been collecting dust and donate it!
Hope to see YOU at the next Girlfriends Club meeting! (Click HERE for more information)
